Hmmm but when you kill a boss, celestial things pop up everywhere, so doesn't your hero get attacked?

I can't cast enchantment on me.. Tried everything.. She can't even cast it on herself and when I even get it, she cancels it right away

you need to bring up her skill bar by clicking the number next to her name in the party window......then hold shift and click all the enchantment to disable them......after that target yourself and click on the enchantments one at a time to cast them (they should still be disabled, this is so she doesn't cancel them)

I 'Storm the kournan base' solo with my elem and kill the boss...
The problem is the loot, 1 gold rune (sometimes), 2-3 purple and about 5 blue...and loads of pendents.
Not worth it.

couldn't completely do a forgemaster run cause I had to go at this point

hm konig what did you do against the mesmer ?

mystic regeneration is a good cover enchant, 5 second recharge

I also tried it with warrior, but ss+empathy gave me problems, together with 4 ele's tossing spells at you...vigorous spirit+live vicarousy didn't seem to be enough.

As a warrior if you were to do W/D it might be possible. Drop the Live Vicariously/Vigorous Spirit for Mystic Regeneration + Pious Restoration. You wouldn't need to spec very high to get the max regeneration from Mystic Regeneration afterall (3 into Earth Prayers gives +2 for each enchantment, monk has 7 enchantments on you), and with a 4 spec into Wind Prayers Pious Restoration will remove 2 hexes. The only concern would be the energy issue.

However if you just skip the first quest you should be able to sneak around any groups with a beast + mesmer.

ok i've tried it and it works quite well. I've been able to kill a beast+mesmer but 2 monks are impossible :/
you also need an interupt against the SoH of the warriors
I've done it like this:
-Mystic Regeneration
-Tripple Chop
-Penetrating Blow
-Penetrating Chop
-Executioner's Strike
-Disrupting Chop
-dolyak signet
-Pious Restoration

Using an axe is better because of the Disrupting Chop. You can bar the warriors from using SoH completly and you're able to shut down the monk :
I haven't tested it on the skelettons....
maybe i can post some screens later
